Levee Recertification Letter PDF Dated: May 27, 2010
FIRM - Effective: December 30, 2011
On August 16, 2011, FEMA issued a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) due to new Hydraulic and Hydrologic Analysis and Topographic Data in a Provisionally Accredited Levee (PAL) Area. These changes affect Panels 0345D, 0375D and 0410D and are Effective December 30, 2011.

- On August 18, 2010, FEMA issued a Letter of Final Determination (LFD).

- The LFD set into motion two items.
- The first item is that on the date of the LFD, the County began utilizing the flood information contained on the panels below to enforce the County’s Ordinance 10.30 for Floodplain Management.
- The second item is that six months following the date of the LFD (February 18, 2011), the panels below became effective for flood insurance purposes, with the exception of Zone A with out a Base Flood Elevation Determined. Zone A areas without a Base Flood Elevation determined became effective and enforceable with the LFD on August 18, 2010.
Wheatland Area with Bear River Levee Accreditation
FEMA accreditation means properties protected by the levees, except those affected by internal drainage issues, will not be subject to building restrictions or mandatory flood insurance regulations. The Accreditation will take effect February 22, 2011 as shown on the Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Determination Document below.
