Yuba County Public Works aims to post road conditions and closures on County-maintained roads during normal business hours. Updates may include significant traffic control situations and/or closures related to construction, severe weather-related impacts, emergencies, and other events that affect travel. While we strive to provide timely and accurate information, conditions can change quickly. Information on this page may not always reflect current conditions. Current Road Closures
- Pendola Road (Weeds Point Road to Pendola Barn): Closed approximately 0.7 miles south of Youngs Hill Road due to a failing section of roadway that poses a potential safety hazard to the traveling public. The road is closed with gates at both ends while the roadway is being evaluated.
Current Road Delays
- School St., Calvin Ln., Spencer St., Pike City Rd., Spring St., Jackson St., Mill St., County Rd. 171, and Cleveland Ave: PG&E will be trenching within roadways throughout Camptonville to install underground electric power infrastructure. Motorists should expect delays of up to 20 minutes in active work zones. June 22, 2026 – October 25, 2026. Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday work.
- State Route 70, between SR-65 and SR 70 split and the E Street Bridge (See full details) Caltrans work beginning July 8, 2026 and expected to take approximately 45 days.
- North Beale Rd at Lindhurst Ave (Costco Gas Station Intersection): Construction related traffic control will likely impact westbound traffic from July 30, 2026, through August 5, 2026. Work hours: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Pendola Rd, Pendola Extension, Mill Rd, and Garden Valley Rd (Camptonville): PG&E electric underground project. Work will be from August 6, 2026 to November 11, 2026, starting on Garden Valley Rd. Motorists should expect traffic control and delays of up to 10 minutes in active work zones.
- Goldfields Pkwy, Linda Ave, and North Beale Rd: Traffic control will be in place on Goldfields Parkway and portions of Linda Avenue and North Beale Road from August 13 through September 31, 2026, while LGI and its contractor install new landscape improvements.
